About Our School
Welcome to Copper Ridge School, a community school located in the center of DC Ranch. Copper Ridge is a leading innovative Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade school that fosters academic excellence, character development, and critical problem solving skills.
We engage students in a collaborative and empowering environment that is student-centered and focused on inquiry-based learning. We promote character, responsibility, and safety for every student, every day.
Our teachers and staff are dedicated to providing the best education possible for our students and are held to the highest standard throughout the year. We are dedicated to educating the whole child. We meet each child where they are and work to ensure academic, social, and emotional growth. Our goal is to create a culture of achievement, and believe that all students can grow and succeed when they are provided with the tools and resources to do so.
The CRS Way is pledging to create a safe and caring environment for all students. We focus on the values of Character, Respect, and Safety throughout the year. In an effort to provide a positive school climate, we encourage students through the slogan "Showing the CRS Way, Every Student, Every Day
About Our Campus
Our beautiful outdoor campus is surrounded by desert landscape and nature.
On campus, our classrooms are equipped with the latest technology to support interactive learning, we have a grand library and multiple media labs where students can foster a love for reading and research. Our campus has multiple playground areas, sports fields, a full-sized gym, an indoor and outdoor auditorium, which all provide space for physical education, recreational sports, and performing arts. On campus we have two beautiful gardens, one that is maintained by our very own 5th grade students.
CRS is a uniform campus. All enrolled students are required to wear uniforms. We believe that uniforms bring unity and help students focus on our expectations and building character.
Volunteers & Visitors
Parents are encouraged to visit the schools and volunteer. Here is where you can apply to volunteer. Visitors are required to sign in at the front office, provide ID, and wear a visitor sticker any time they are on campus. Student visitors are not permitted.
